What we use
The SESTRA website only uses Google Analytics analytics cookies, and only if you accept them in the banner. Until you accept, no Google code is loaded and no cookie is set (Google Consent Mode v2, basic mode).
Google Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
- _ga: distinguishes users anonymously · 2 years.
- _ga_<ID>: keeps the session state · 2 years.

Our own visit counter, without cookies
We also use our own visit counter that sets no cookies and stores neither your IP address nor browser details: only anonymous daily totals (page views, traffic source and device type). It therefore requires no consent.
Local storage
Your cookie choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage (key sestra-consent), and a technical flag in sessionStorage avoids repeating the intro animation. They contain no personal data.
Changing your choice
You can accept or reject at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or delete cookies from your browser settings.
