## History

SESTRA was founded in 1986 in Andoain (Gipuzkoa) by a multidisciplinary team of engineers and architects and has since developed and taken part in more than 2,500 civil engineering and architecture projects and site supervisions.

Among them are emblematic local projects such as the new road accesses to San Sebastián, the AP-1 motorway, the widening of the AP-8 to three lanes, new N-I junctions, town bypasses, the new cycle-lane network of San Sebastián and Gipuzkoa, the Donostialdea metro, several water tanks and pumping facilities, the first Anoeta Stadium and the Ilunbe leisure centre.

SESTRA has also designed and taken part in industrial buildings and works for Grupo Indaux, ArcelorMittal, Sprilur and Gureak; residential buildings for Playa Gaztetape, Iaonel and Eginandia; public buildings such as the Azkoitia Elkargune or the Labegaraieta sports centre in Bergara; and healthcare facilities for Osakidetza.

Internationally, SESTRA has taken part in several road, interchange and civil works projects in Africa, South America and the USA.
